About
Amit Dwivedi is an Assistant Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick, UK. Previously, he held a Lecturer/Assistant Professor position in Electronic and Electrical Engineering at Manchester Metropolitan University. He earned his B.Tech. (2012), M.E. (2015), and Ph.D. (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) from Imperial College London.
His research focuses on low-power electronics, biomedical signal processing, and machine learning for developing ultra-low-power wearable systems that enable long-term monitoring of physiological signals for early disease detection. He also teaches electronics engineering and supervises projects in wearable devices and low-power systems.
Recent publications explore machine learning models for gastrointestinal imaging (IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement), heart sound analysis algorithms (IEEE Access), and localization methods for medical capsules (IEEE Sensors Journal). Despite no explicitly listed scientific awards, his work reflects contributions to biomedical engineering and healthcare technology.
He leads projects and grants (details linked in profile) and advises students in wearable technology. Office hours are Thursdays 10 AM–12 PM during term time at the School of Engineering, Coventry.
