Dr. Amar Sayani is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Optometry at Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry, where he also serves as Director of the Sports Vision & Concussion Clinic at The Eye Care Institute and NSU Sports Medicine Clinic. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Western Ontario (2006), a Doctor of Optometry from Salus University (2010), and completed a residency in Pediatrics/Vision Therapy at Southern College of Optometry (2013).
His research focuses on sports vision enhancement, post-concussion rehabilitation, pediatric pharmacology, and learning-related visual disorders. He investigates the visual impacts of prolonged screen exposure and develops clinical protocols for neuro-optometric care.
