Amanda Wright is a Senior Instructor in the Department of Communication Studies at Colorado State University (CSU), part of the College of Liberal Arts. She holds an M.A. in Communication Studies from CSU (2004) and a B.A. in Speech Communication from Nebraska Wesleyan University (2002). Her research focuses on media representation, political identity, and contemporary television analysis, as evidenced by her Master's thesis on Winona LaDuke's political identity during the 2000 U.S. presidential campaign.
Teaching specialties include Political Communication, Evaluating Contemporary Television, Professional Communication, and Public Speaking. She has taught full-time at CSU since 2004, previously serving as a Special Instructor/Lecturer, and also instructed Interpersonal Communication and Public Speaking at Front Range Community College. Amanda resides in Fort Collins with her family.
