Amanda Warren is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Information Management at the University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business. She holds a B.S.B.A. in Accounting (2009) and M.Acc. in Audit and Controls (2010) from Tennessee. Before academia, Warren was an assurance manager at PwC Atlanta specializing in asset management and real estate industries.
As a licensed CPA in Georgia, she bridges professional practice with accounting education. Her teaching focuses on auditing and controls, informed by industry experience in financial compliance and risk assessment.
Awarded Faculty of the Year by Beta Alpha Psi (2019) and the Pugh AIM Faculty Award (2019), Warren is recognized for educational excellence. Her earlier achievements include the Federation of Schools of Accountancy Student Achievement Award (2010) and Top Graduate recognition (2009).
