Amanda Carey

Amanda Carey is a Teaching Professor in Spanish at Washington University in St. Louis, where she has served since 2002. Her roles include Dean’s Fellow for Educational Initiatives (effective Nov. 2024), Assistant Director of Undergraduate Studies for Spanish, and former Course Coordinator for elementary, intermediate, and advanced Spanish curriculum. She specializes in second language pedagogy and online learning, having developed Spanish courses for WashU Continuing & Professional Studies.
