
About
Amanda Brunk serves as a Lecturer at Wilfrid Laurier University teaching voice for singers and periodically coaches actors at Sheridan College/University of Toronto. She is Founder and Artistic Director of The Singer's Theatre, a summer music theatre training program attracting singers from across North America since 2002, and maintains a private studio in Waterloo, Ontario.

- Bachelor of Music Performance (BacMusPerf)
- Master of Arts in Community Music (MA/Community Music)
Specializing in contemporary voice technique and voice habilitation, she is a PAVA-Recognized Vocologist and Designated Linklater Teacher. Her expertise spans classical, choral, pop, and music theatre genres with emphasis on professional singer development for Canadian and Broadway stages.
She has received two Professional Development Grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and holds dual professional certifications as a PAVA-Recognized Vocologist and Designated Linklater Teacher.
Amanda has mentored numerous voice students who perform across Canada, on North American tours, and in Broadway productions. She served as Vice-President of the Ontario chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and regularly adjudicates competitions nationwide.
As conductor of the Grand Philharmonic Youth Choir for eight years, she achieved national and international competition victories and performances with Grammy-winning artists. Her leadership in The Singer's Theatre establishes it as a premier training ground for emerging musical theatre talent.
