Alston Conley is an Associate Professor of the Practice in Studio Art at Boston College, serving as the Studio Art Major Coordinator and Study Abroad Advisor. He is affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences and the Department of Studio Art. His professional roles include teaching courses such as Collage and Mixed Media, Painting I: Foundations, and a summer Drawing course in Venice, Italy. Prior to his current position, he was Chief Curator of the McMullen Museum at Boston College from 1988 to 2005.
