Allison Rioux is an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at St. John Fisher University, where she has taught in the graduate literacy program for over a decade. She currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction in the Brighton Central School District. Previously, she held roles including Elementary School Principal at French Road Elementary, Assistant Director of Humanities, and Literacy Coach in Brighton, and worked as a Special Education Teacher and Literacy Coach in the Rochester City School District.
Rioux is a 'double Cardinal,' having earned her Bachelor’s in Childhood and Special Education (2003) and Master’s in Literacy (2006) from St. John Fisher University. She also holds a doctorate and administrative certification from the University of Rochester. Her contributions to the Brighton Central School District helped establish the School of Education’s teacher pipeline program partnership.
