Dr. Allison Lindner is a Lecturer in Law at University College London (UCL) Faculty of Laws since September 2021. She is affiliated with the UCL Centre for Law and Environment, chairs the Waste Law Reading Group, and serves as a Member of the Academic Circle supporting the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Development (2024–2026). She holds a PhD in Law from the University of Kent, an LLM in International Economic Law from SOAS, University of London, and a BA in International and Comparative Studies from the University of Western Ontario.

Her research focuses on Law and Legal Studies, Heterodox Economics, and Sociology, with a particular emphasis on environmental law, international economic law, and public interest advocacy. She previously served as an Assistant Lecturer at Kent Law School (2019–2021) and held roles as a Legal Researcher at the Commonwealth Secretariat, researcher for civil society organizations, and contributor to the Kiobel v Royal Dutch Petroleum U.S. Supreme Court case.
She is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and former Chair of the Public Interest Environmental Law UK conference. She is fluent in English and French.
