Allison Adair is a Professor of the Practice in the Department of English at Boston College. She holds a B.A. from Brown University and an M.F.A. from the University of Iowa. Her academic affiliation is with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences.
Her research focuses on Creative Writing, Poetry, Flash Fiction, and Digital Humanities. She teaches courses such as the First-Year Writing Seminar (exploring topics like Pop Culture & Protest and American Anti-Intellectualism), multi-level creative writing workshops, and literature core courses including Truth-Telling in Literature and American Experiments.
