Allen Russell

Allen Russell is a violinist, composer, and instructor at the Dance Department of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He holds an MFA in String Pedagogy from UW-Milwaukee and specializes in violin performance, music education, and collaborative dance projects. His roles include teaching Suzuki violin methods and performing with ensembles like Swing Chevron and the Tontine Ensemble.

Research & Performance: Russell focuses on violin pedagogy, classical performance, and original compositions for dance collaborations. His Hot Swing quartet, Swing Chevron, performs at major festivals like Summerfest and the Midwest Gypsy Swingfest.
