Jamie Hofman

Dr. Jamie Hofman is a Teaching Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM), specifically in the Music Department. He has been a faculty member at the UWM String Academy since 2007 and serves as the Director of Pre-college Violin and Viola Programs. Hofman holds B.M. degrees in viola and violin performance, along with a Performer's Certificate in viola from Indiana University, where his teachers included Atar Arad, Jerry Horner, and Mimi Zweig.

• Affiliations: Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, Milwaukee Ballet Orchestra (principal violist), and Eastern Music Festival (summer faculty).
• Teaching Experience: Also teaches at Falls Baptist College, and previously at the University of Louisville and Campbellsville University.
