Alizon Lissance

Alizon Lissance is an Assistant Professor in the Harmony Department at Berklee College of Music since 1997. A multi-faceted musician, she excels as a keyboardist, vocalist, songwriter, and arranger. Her career spans decades with notable achievements including a Boston Music Award (1991) and critical recognition in Musician Magazine. She co-founded The Love Dogs, a renowned jump/swing R&B band with four CDs and extensive touring across North America and Europe. Lissance also maintains active freelance recording and performance engagements.

As a Berklee alumna and faculty member, she contributes to the college's online extension programs, aiming to broaden access to music education. Her teaching focuses on harmony and music theory, complemented by her practical experience in performance and composition.
