Alixis Rhodes

Dr. Alixis S. Rhodes is an Assistant Professor in the Applied Clinical Psychology program at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, specializing in Human Development and Education. She works with individuals with severe mental illnesses, legal system detainees, and families in the foster care system.

Research and Expertise: Her work focuses on clinical psychology, forensic psychology, cognitive-behavioral therapy, addiction, psychopathology, and liberation psychology. She emphasizes healthy mental health practices and therapeutic clarity through a liberation framework.

Community Involvement: Founder of No Black Girl Left Behind (NBGLB), an organization dedicated to uplifting Black women through support networks and self-care initiatives.
