Corey Milsap serves as Program Chair and Director of Clinical Training for the School Psychology Program at The Chicago School. With over 15 years of experience in clinical and educational settings across multiple states, she is a licensed professional counselor, licensed mental health counselor, licensed school psychologist, and certified school psychologist. Her work focuses on evidence-based interventions, including CBT, TF-CBT, EMDR, and ACT, for individuals and educational teams.
- Education: PsyD in Clinical Psychology (Argosy University, Washington, DC, 2011), EdS in School Psychology (Marshall University, 2002), and additional degrees in psychology, educational administration, and adult education.
Dr. Milsap specializes in addressing depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, autism, and trauma, with expertise in neurodevelopmental disorders, executive dysfunction, and adolescent behavior assessment. Her therapeutic approaches include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Counseling.
She has delivered national presentations on topics such as clinical mental health evaluation, psychometrics, AI in mental wellness, trauma-informed care, and virtual ethics in teletherapy since 2008. Her areas of professional focus include cultural competence, crisis intervention, school law and ethics, and bullying prevention.
