Alix Olson is an Associate Professor at Emory University's Department of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, co-director of Emory's Studies in Sexualities program, and faculty advisor for ReVision Intersectional Feminists at Oxford College. Her work bridges feminist theory, queer politics, and critical resistance studies.

Her recent publications explore resistance genealogies, resilience critiques, and intersectional utopianism, with interdisciplinary methodologies spanning political theory, feminist epistemology, and cultural analysis. Current projects include a Columbia University Press monograph on resilience governance and a Bloomsbury film-politics-poetry hybrid work on Mad Max: Fury Road.
