Alison M Michie

Alison M. Michie is a Professor in Molecular Lymphopoiesis at the Paul O'Gorman Leukaemia Research Centre, University of Glasgow. She leads a research group focused on molecular mechanisms of hematopoietic stem cell differentiation into B/T lymphocytes and the pathogenesis of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Her work bridges fundamental biology and translational applications, with collaborations across academia (e.g., University of Leicester, University of Edinburgh) and industry (GlaxoSmithKline).

Her research interests center on:

• PKC and mTOR signaling in leukemia
• Oncogenic triggers for CLL
