Alisha Byrd-Clark

Dr. Alisha Byrd-Clark serves as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Business, Economics & Society at Catawba College while simultaneously operating as owner of Byrd-Clark & Co. (Human Resources and Business Consulting) and founder of Gemstones & COMPASS Leadership Academy, Inc., a nonprofit providing youth mentoring, tutoring, and essential resource distribution across Rowan County.

Her academic credentials include:

• PhD in Organizational Leadership from Northcentral University
• MBA in Human Resource Management from Strayer University
• BA in Political Science and History from Winston-Salem State University

Her professional focus integrates Organizational Leadership with community-centered applications, emphasizing Human Resource Management systems development, at-risk youth intervention strategies, and nonprofit operational frameworks. This manifests through direct consulting services, leadership academy programming, and systemic community resource allocation addressing food insecurity and educational gaps.
