Dr. iur. Alina Wernick, LL.M, is a Visiting scholar at the Faculty of Law, University of Helsinki, and has served as supervisor for the Doctoral Programme in Law. Since June 2024, she leads the Law, AI and Society research group at the CZS Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Law, University of Tübingen. Her work bridges law, technology, and human rights, focusing on smart cities, algorithmic governance, and data protection.
Research interests include:
