Alice Guerra is an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, University of Bologna, specializing in the economic analysis of law, illegal behaviors, and dishonesty. She holds an Italian Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale as a Full Professor in Economic Policy (SC 13/A2, 13/A3). Her research spans tax evasion, corruption, judicial performance, addictive behaviors, and sports economics, utilizing experimental, empirical, and theoretical methodologies.
She serves as an Associate Editor at the International Review of Law and Economics, Research Fellow at the International Centre for Economic Analysis, and Managing Director of the European Association of Law and Economics. Notable grants include a Marie Curie Fellowship (2017–2019) and two PRIN grants from the Italian Ministry of Education (DYNOSOR and environmental-market reforms projects).
Her teaching includes courses on data-driven policy analysis and internships for business economics students.
