Alice Edwards

Alice Edwards is a Professor of Spanish and Chair of the Department of Anthropology and World Languages at Mercyhurst University. She also serves as Faculty Liaison for Community Engagement, facilitating the Beyond the Gates course and leading the Language in Motion group, which brings language and culture activities to local K-12 schools.

Her community involvement focuses on refugee resettlement and anti-racism initiatives in Erie. She frequently leads student trips to Spain and Mexico, emphasizing experiential learning and cultural immersion.
