Alfredo Thiermann is an architect and Research Fellow at ETH Zurich, where he explores the intersection between architecture and diverse media, including sound installations, film scenography, and public infrastructure. He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science, investigating the architecture of radio in Cold War Berlin.

Alfredo has been recognized as a finalist in the Young Architects Program (MoMA) and a nominee for the MCHAP Emerging Architect Prize (IIT). His projects have been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art (New York), Istanbul Design Biennial, and Museo MAC Quinta Normal in Santiago.
