Alexis Beatty

Alexis Beatty, MD, MAS is a Professor in the Department of Epidemiology & Biostatistics and the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. She studies innovative delivery models for cardiovascular disease care, focusing on reducing disparities through digital health and implementation science.

Dr. Beatty's research emphasizes cardiac rehabilitation, digital clinical study methods, and health services research. She developed the VA FitHeart mobile app to improve cardiac rehab participation and has explored the integration of cardiac rehab into breast cancer survivorship care. Her work spans cardiovascular prevention, hypertension management, and health equity.

Her grants include NIH funding for mobile technology in cardiac rehab and NHLBI career awards.
