Alexis B. Moniz

Alexis B. Moniz serves as Adjunct Faculty at Rhode Island College while maintaining an active clinical role as a school psychologist at Deans Mill School in Stonington, CT. With over a decade of field experience spanning multiple school districts and grant-funded initiatives, she bridges academic instruction with practical K-5 educational psychology services.

Her expertise focuses on:

• Trauma-responsive interventions for young children through Bounce Back cognitive behavioral therapy
• Special education support systems for students with disabilities
• Academic assessment frameworks and consultation models for school personnel
