Alexandra Arnim

Alexandra Arnim is a Lecturer at the Institute for Science and Research of the Music and Arts Private University of the City of Vienna (MUK) since 2014. She combines academic teaching with extensive professional experience in art curation, cultural management, and private sales leadership.

• Education: BA in Art History (University of Vienna, 1985), MA in Art History (Boston University, 1988), MPhil in Art History (University of Salzburg, 1996), PhD in Art History (University of Applied Arts Vienna, 2000)

Her research interests focus on interdisciplinary intersections between art history, cultural management, and musicology. She has contributed to academic programs while maintaining active roles in major art institutions including:

• Head of Private Sales at Dorotheum Vienna (since 2007)
• Founder of Vienna Art Week (since 2007)
• Administrative leadership at Kunstareal Munich (since 2015)
• Board member of Lenbachhaus Friends of the Munich Association (since 2014)
