Markus Meyer

Markus Meyer is a University Professor of Acting at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) since 2014. He holds a diploma in biochemistry from the University of Hanover (1996) and trained as an actor at the Ernst Busch Berlin University of Performing Arts (1996–2000). His professional career includes extensive engagements with renowned institutions like the Berliner Ensemble (1999–2004) and the Burgtheater Vienna (since 2004), collaborating with directors such as Claus Peymann, Robert Wilson, and David Bösch. He has performed at major venues including the Salzburg Festival and Bavarian State Opera, and has been honored with prestigious awards for his acting and vocal work.
