Prof. Dr. Alexander Schunka is a Professor at the Friedrich Meinecke Institute, Department of History and Cultural Studies, Freie Universität Berlin. He specializes in Early Modern European History with a focus on religious plurality, migration, and cultural interactions.

- Historische Migrations- und Mobilitätsforschung (Migration in 17th–18th century Europe).
