Alexander Rokoss

Dr. Alexander Rokoss is a Research Associate at the Institute of Production Engineering and Systems (IPTS) at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Since 2018, he has focused on projects related to digital transformation in engineering education, Industry 4.0 applications, and advanced production technologies.

• Remote Labs in Electrical Engineering for digital skills development
• Model-based property design along process chains (continuous casting, extrusion, bending)
• Development of data-driven models for process robustness optimization
• Application of 5G technology in small and medium enterprises (EVOLVE5G project)

His research spans manufacturing technology, materials mechanics, and engineering didactics, with notable work on magnesium-based nanocomposites, fiber-metal laminates, and additively manufactured extrusion dies. He also contributes to teaching activities and student support programs at the university.
