Alexander Crowe is a Visiting Professor in the Opera Faculty at the Royal Academy of Music and remains a visiting répétiteur at the Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM). He previously served as Senior Tutor and Head of Opera Music Staff at RNCM from 1981 to 2010, where he was also appointed as Honorary Fellow in 2001. His research focuses on musicology, opera, baroque music, and vocal coaching, with notable work on the early unpublished works of Sibelius.
