Alex Sanchez serves as Faculty in the MFA in Writing for Children & Young Adults program at Vermont College of Fine Arts. An accomplished author, he has published ten novels including the Lambda Award-winning 'Rainbow Boys' series and 'So Hard to Say'. His graphic novel 'You Brought Me the Ocean' was developed with DC Comics.
Sanchez's work explores themes of identity, sexuality, and self-acceptance in youth literature. He holds an MS in Education with specialization in Guidance and Counseling, bringing psychological insights to character development.
