Alessandro Rotatori is a Lecturer in English Language and Director of the Language Centre at the Saint Camillus International University of Health and Medical Sciences in Rome. With a first-class MA in Applied Linguistics and ELT from St. Mary’s University College, Twickenham, London, he has 20 years of teaching experience across Italy and Albania. He is a regular tutor at the University College London (UCL) Summer Course in English Phonetics (SCEP) since 2018.
His expertise focuses on medical English pronunciation, evidenced by three authored books on the topic and his current project: a pronouncing dictionary of contemporary British and American English for medicine and nursing. He has served on the Scientific Committee for the 2015 and 2017 Phonetics Teaching and Learning Conference (PTLC) and reviewed for the English Phonetic Society of Japan and the International Congress of Phoneticians of English.
