Alessandro Colosio

Alessandro Colosio is a junior professor in exercise physiology and adapted physical activities in the Department of Sport Sciences at Université Jean Monnet, Saint-Étienne, France, since October 2024. He is affiliated with the [PAF] research team, focusing on physiological responses to exercise in health, sports, and clinical contexts.

His research centers on optimizing exercise programs by manipulating training variables such as intensity and volume. Key areas include oxygen uptake kinetics, critical power, W′ recovery, and the effects of heat stress on exercise performance. He applies both theoretical modeling and applied strength and conditioning approaches.
