Aleksandra Świdurska is a Ph.D. student and researcher at the University of Warsaw's Faculty of Law and Administration. Born in 1999, she earned her master's degree in classical studies with honors in 2023 under the supervision of dr hab. Jan Kwapisz. Since October 2023, she has been contributing to the NCN OPUS research project 'Law in Social Networks of late-Antique Aphrodito' (grant number 2019/35/B/HS3/02301).

Świdurska's research interests lie at the crossroads of Classics, Legal History, and Byzantine Studies. Her doctoral thesis, titled 'δι᾽ ἐµοῦ ἐγράφη: the role of scribal practices and forms in Byzantine Egyptian legal documents', investigates the impact of scribal practices on legal documentation in Byzantine Egypt. Additionally, her current project explores the social networks that influenced legal practices in the late-Antique village of Aphrodito.
Funded by the National Science Centre (NCN) OPUS grant, her research is part of a larger scholarly effort to understand ancient legal systems. During her master's studies, she was an active member of the academic community, serving in the Young Classicists Academic Society of the University of Warsaw as a member (2019-2021) and later as vice president (2021-2023).
