Aleksander Kozera

Aleksander Kozera is an Assistant Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, specializing in painting and stained-glass art. Born in Katowice in 1976, he obtained his diploma from the Academy in 2002 under Prof. Jacek Rykała. Since 2005, he has served as an assistant teacher to Prof. Rykała and dr hab. Maciej Linttner. His artistic practice focuses on easel painting and stained-glass creation, with 13 solo exhibitions and collaborative works with his wife, Elżbieta Kozera, in 25 sacred buildings. Kozera’s studios include Painting Studio I and Drawing Studio IV, where he holds regular office hours. His work bridges traditional and contemporary approaches to visual arts, emphasizing craftsmanship and cultural heritage.
