Alejandro Parada-Mayorga is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Colorado Denver, specializing in mathematical foundations of deep learning and signal processing.
His research develops theoretical frameworks for neural networks using algebraic structures and noncommutative algebras. Parada-Mayorga's work on Algebraic Neural Networks provides universal stability analysis applicable across convolutional architectures, graph neural networks, and group neural networks. His current Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship project, co-led with Professor David Galbreath, investigates human-machine teaming and future military operations.
Parada-Mayorga's research has been published in premier IEEE transactions and conferences. He received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Delaware where he was awarded the Dissertation Fellowship and Signal Processing and Communications Graduate Faculty Award.
