Alberto Wilson

Alberto Wilson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Texas Christian University (TCU) within the AddRan College of Liberal Arts. His research focuses on Mexican American history, U.S.-Mexico border relations, and 20th-century political economy, with a particular interest in urban contexts.

Wilson’s recent publication on El Paso in the Oxford Research Encyclopedia of American History (2023) reflects his expertise in borderlands history and urban political economy. His teaching includes courses such as HIST 10723 (History of Latinos/as in the U.S.) and HIST 30803 (U.S. Urban History).
