Albert Fuster

Dr. Albert Fuster is an Academic Lead at the H&I Campus of the University of the Highlands and Islands. Holding a PhD in History of Art and Architecture, he focuses on fostering open design education through reflection and practice. His research interrogates boundaries between architecture, design, visual culture, and literature, emphasizing interdisciplinary connections.

Research Interests: Albert’s work explores the intersections of architecture, design innovation, circular economy principles, and environmental/interaction design. He advocates for tacit knowledge development through engagement with individuals, collectives, and contextual resources.
