Dr. Alan Lewis is Senior Lecturer in Architectural Studies and Head of Architecture at the University of Manchester. His research examines the intersection of government policy and architectural practice, with focus on housing design for aging populations and building design impacts on health.
Education includes a PhD from the University of Sheffield on post-war reconstruction planning. Previously worked on research projects at Sheffield and Manchester.
