Alan Fung

Dr. Alan Fung is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical, Industrial, and Mechatronics Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University, Faculty of Engineering and Architectural Science. His research focuses on sustainable building and community energy systems, renewable energies, and smart control technologies for net-zero energy applications.

Research Interests: Dr. Fung specializes in energy efficiency, building-integrated energy systems, hybrid renewable systems, HVAC optimization, and adaptive control using AI and machine learning. His work aims to reduce building sector emissions and support carbon-neutral urban development.
