Alaa Mohasseb

Dr. Alaa Mohasseb is a Senior Lecturer in AI and Machine Learning at the University of Portsmouth's School of Computing, Faculty of Technology. He serves as Course Leader for the MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning and leads the Language Processing and Interdisciplinary Inference research area within the Portsmouth AI and Data Science Centre (PAIDS). He holds a PhD in Computing (2018) and a Master's in Educational Leadership (2024). His academic roles include Early Career Researcher Representative for the Faculty and co-leadership of the Athena Swan Team.
