Akua Tetteh

Akua Tetteh is an Assistant Teaching Professor in the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Northeastern University. Her teaching focuses on core courses like Principles of Public Administration and Institutional Leadership and the Public Manager, alongside elective courses in nonprofit management. Originally from Ghana, West Africa, she integrates her transnational background into her academic contributions.

• Master’s in Public Policy and Administration from Mississippi State University
• Bachelor of Arts in English and Political Science from the University of Ghana

Her research centers on nonprofit and African NGO management, leadership, and development, with a special emphasis on women’s issues and empowerment. She actively engages in educational practices that bridge public policy with practical, real-world applications.
