Akihiko Michimi serves as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography, Sustainability, Community, and Urban Studies Education at the University of Connecticut. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut, completed in 2008, and maintains an active academic appointment at the Storrs campus.
His scholarly work centers on interdisciplinary research spanning:
