Dr. Ahmed Radwan serves as Dean of the College of Health Professions and Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. With over 25 years of teaching experience, his expertise spans evidence-based practice, musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and movement science. A physical therapist (PT) and certified professional ergonomist (CPE), Radwan founded and directs the Center for Ergonomic Analysis and Research (CEAR).
His research focuses on ergonomics and human motion analysis, with applications in occupational health, rehabilitation science, and biomechanical assessment. He has authored over 100 publications and presentations advancing these interdisciplinary fields.
Before joining Detroit Mercy, Radwan held academic positions for 26 years at Cairo University (13 years) and Utica University (13 years). He maintains active consultancy work on specialized medical cases requiring ergonomic or biomechanical expertise.
