Aglecia Moda Vitoriano Budri

Aglecia Moda Vitoriano Budri is a Lecturer and Programme Director at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) School of Nursing and Midwifery, and a Visiting Professor at the Sao Paulo State University (UNESP) Faculty of Medicine, Department of Nursing. She holds a PhD from RCSI (2015–2018), a BSc from UNESP (2009–2013), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Professions Education from RCSI (2019–2021).

Her research focuses on wound care/tissue viability, health information technology, and nursing education, with key contributions to pressure ulcer prevention, skin moisture measurement, and inflammation biomarkers. She leads the Skin Wounds and Trauma (SWaT) Centre at RCSI and collaborates with global institutions. Notable grants include the EPUAP Excellence in Education Award and projects on caregiver health literacy and telemonitoring.

Budri teaches advanced wound care and nursing leadership, supervising MSc/PhD students. She has delivered invited lectures on topics like pressure ulcer prevention and participates in research clusters including Nursing & Midwifery and Immunity, Infection & Inflammation. Her work aligns with UN SDGs 3 (Good Health) and 4 (Quality Education).
