Dr. Doron completed his PhD in Geography from the University of Toulouse le Mirail - Toulouse II in 2018 with a thesis titled "Tunisian trade routes: Post revolution geography of a network of globalized marketplaces." He has developed particular expertise in studying Ben Gardane, a Tunisian border town that has emerged as a significant hub for transnational commerce despite its marginal location.
