Benjamin SAUVERE

Benjamin SAUVERE is a PhD student and Lecturer affiliated with the Interdisciplinary Laboratory for Solidarity, Societies, Territories (LISST) at the University of Toulouse-Jean Jaurès. His academic work integrates urban planning, human geography, and sociology to examine community-driven urban revitalization strategies.

His educational background includes:

• Master 2 MEEF option DNL in Spanish (2015/2016) with thesis on 'Teaching the territory in a context of social diversity through symbolic places'
• Master 2 research in Spaces, Societies, Cultures of the Americas (2011/2012) with thesis on 'New worlds, new works: cultural, artistic and social transformations of the amantecatl in New Spain'
• History degree with minors in FLE and Ethnology/Anthropology (2007/2008)

SAUVERE's research centers on collaborative resident practices for revaluing urban centers, analyzing social networks, land use planning, and commons management. As a Lecturer, he teaches Planning the territory and Epistemology of geography at undergraduate level (L3 GA). Previously, he served as a secondary school teacher in History/Geography and lecturer in anthropology/FLE at UAEH in Mexico, demonstrating transnational educational engagement.
