Adrian S. Onas is Professor of Naval Architecture at Webb Institute with over 25 years of maritime industry experience. He holds a PhD in Ocean Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, MS from University of New Orleans, and BS from Constanta Maritime University.
His research focuses on hydrodynamics, ship vibrations, and marine structural analysis. Onas developed expertise in nonlinear ship motions and towing tank research at Davidson Laboratory. He teaches courses in ship dynamics, hydrodynamics, and naval architecture.
