Dr. Adolf Keßeler is a Researcher at Research Center Jülich GmbH, affiliated with the Institute of Bio- and Geosciences (IBG), specifically the Plant Sciences (IBG-2) department. His work focuses on sustainable agriculture through plant phenotyping, analysis of plant-environment interactions, and development of technologies for alternative biomass utilization.
As science manager at IBG-2, he oversees program-oriented research for the Helmholtz Association and administers national/international third-party funded projects. Since 2013, he has headed the German Plant Phenotyping Network (DPPN) office, providing external access to phenotyping facilities.
