Adam Spoolstra is a full-time Lecturer of Accounting at the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting, University of Central Florida (UCF), since Fall 2024, having previously served as an adjunct instructor there since 2022. With 17 years of teaching experience, he emphasizes understanding the 'why' behind accounting principles in his courses, including Intermediate Accounting I and II. Before academia, he spent five years in tax at Ernst & Young in Kansas City, blending professional expertise with pedagogy.
Education: Adam holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Accounting (tax emphasis) from Northern Illinois University. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Anderson University, expected to defend his dissertation in 2025.
