Adam Neiman is a tenured Professor of Piano and Department Chair at Roosevelt University's Chicago College of Performing Arts. A globally recognized concert pianist, composer, and arts innovator, he has performed with major orchestras like the Chicago Symphony and National Symphony Orchestra of Washington D.C., and earned accolades such as the Avery Fisher Career Grant and Gilmore Young Artist Award.
- Education: Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from The Juilliard School; Master of Science in Applied Exercise Science (Strength & Conditioning Concentration) from Concordia University Chicago.
Neiman's research spans interdisciplinary domains, integrating music performance with kinesiology and athletic training to address performance-related musculoskeletal disorders (PRMDs) in musicians. He is certified as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist® and explores clinical applications of resistance training for musicians.
His scientific awards include the Avery Fisher Career Grant, Gilmore Young Artist Award, and a Grammy Award nomination. As an educator, he mentors students at Roosevelt University, preparing them for careers as concert performers, pedagogues, and scholars.
Neiman founded Aeolian Classics, LLC, and serves as Parliamentarian for the Roosevelt University Senate. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Kinesiology with a specialization in Exercise Physiology at Concordia University Saint Paul.
